Books to read next -
I finished part two of Laura and Franck's adventures last week with My Grape Quebec. Book #2 of the "Grape Series" takes them to Quebec where Laura learns how to be a student and navigate her new life with Franck. I am loving this series and can't wait to get My Grape Paris in the mail soon! Supporting women writers and independent publishers is one way to start the new year off right. Laura's books can be found:

I am going to start reading this one on Sunday by the fire...
One by One by Ruth Ware
Getting snowed in at a beautiful, rustic mountain chalet in the French Alps doesn’t sound like the worst problem in the world, especially when there’s a breathtaking vista, a cozy fire, and company to keep you warm. But what happens when that company is eight of your coworkers…and you can’t trust any of them?
When an off-site company retreat meant to promote mindfulness and collaboration goes utterly wrong and an avalanche hits, the corporate food chain becomes irrelevant and survival trumps togetherness. Come Monday morning, how many members short will the team be?
This one sounds great for our book club! Message me below if you want to join our international group and our next zoom call.

Movie to watch now -
This 2017 movie starring Toni Collette, Harvey Keitel and Rossy de Palma is a wonderful answer to "what do you want to watch tonight"? Madame is a story of a couple 'on the brinks' who move to Paris and their maid who is asked to fill in a seat at her hostess's dinner party. There is romance, deception, and a little treachery....perfect for a Friday evening.
